Facilitation

Rooms that leave with a result they own.

For boards, charities, leadership teams and communities who need to walk out with one way forward — not false agreement, and not just a great day out. In person wherever the room is. Online wherever you are.

Which room is yours?

Each one has an email link — the subject line is filled in for you.

01

“We can't agree what this is for.”

+

The purpose of the room is itself contested. Getting underneath the disagreement to why it exists, then building from there.

02

“We're in good shape. Let's decide where next.”

+

A leadership group that works well and wants a day to think bigger — from “we should probably…” to a shared, specific direction everyone can act on. A full offsite, or a shorter working session.

03

“We've got good people. Let's learn from each other.”

+

Practitioners compare notes across sites, teams or organisations — and leave with something they'll actually use.

04

“Everyone gets heard — and something comes of it.”

+

Community gatherings and public conversations where the room is large, the views are many, and the quiet voices matter as much as the loud ones. Every voice heard; a decision the community recognises as its own.

05

“A few people around a table. It matters.”

+

Smaller, higher-stakes conversations where the right questions matter more than the agenda.

06

“I'd like to be in the room, not running it.”

+

A team day that's genuinely enjoyable and still gets somewhere: time together, a few real decisions, and a leader who gets to take part rather than hold the pen. Healthy teams deserve good days too.

“Our people need to learn something — properly.”

+

Practical sessions built around how adults actually learn, not how slide decks are built.

Not sure which room is yours?

Most rooms are a bit of two — and plenty aren't in trouble at all. Tell me what yours is, who's in it and what needs to be different by the end, and I'll tell you honestly what I'd do — or if I'm not the right person.

Two kinds of work, one outcome

Some rooms are contested; some are clear and need pace. Either way, the outcome is the same: not false agreement, not just a great day out, but a result the group actually owns.

What happens when you get in touch

Wherever you are: a first call fits your working day, not mine.

  1. 1

I'll reply within one working day.

  2. 2

A short call, free: what the room is, who's in it, and what needs to be different by the end of the day.

  3. 3

A session designed for your room: a sure-footed agenda, flexible in the moment.

  4. 4

Afterwards, a capture of what was said and decided, so nothing is lost once everyone is back at their desks.

Fees

Every room is different, so facilitation is priced after the first call, not before it. You'll have a clear written quote before anything is booked, and no surprises after.

I'd rather do the work than lose the room over the fee. If budget is the obstacle, say so — charities, churches and community groups especially.

What shapes it
How much preparation the room needs, how long we're together, how many people are in it, and where it is.
Included
Design conversations beforehand, the session itself, and a written capture of what was said and decided afterwards.
Coaching
Coaching has a set fee — £220 a session, £1,000 for five. Details on the coaching page →
