The short version: I use what you send me to reply to you, I don’t sell it, and I don’t add you to a mailing list you didn’t ask for.

Who is responsible

Chas Lamont is the data controller for this website. You can reach me at contactcharlielamont@gmail.com.

What I collect

Only what you type into the enquiry form: your name, email address, organisation if you give one, the kind of session you’re considering, rough timing, and whatever you tell me about the room. Nothing else is gathered from you.

This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads no fonts, scripts or images from other companies. There is no tracking to opt out of.

Why I’m allowed to use it

You give consent by ticking the box on the form, and I have a legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about my work. If we go on to work together, I keep the details because I need them to perform the contract between us.

Who else sees it

The enquiry form is delivered by Formspree, which passes the message to my inbox. My email is hosted by Google. Both act as processors on my behalf and neither uses your enquiry for their own purposes. Nobody else receives your details, and they are never sold, rented or shared for marketing.

How long I keep it

Enquiries that don’t lead to work are deleted within twelve months. Where we do work together, I keep the records for six years after the engagement ends, which is what tax and contract law expects of me.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask me to:

  • show you a copy of what I hold about you
  • correct anything that’s wrong
  • delete it
  • stop using it, or restrict how I use it
  • send it to you or someone else in a portable format
  • withdraw your consent, at any time

Email me and I’ll deal with it within one month. If you think I’ve handled your details badly, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk — though I’d be grateful for the chance to put it right first.

Confidentiality in the room

Separately from this website: what is said in a session I facilitate or a coaching conversation stays there. Where I describe past work publicly, it is anonymised unless a client has agreed in writing to be named.

Changes

If this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it.
